Queens Gazette - Lyvia’s House: Love and Revenge Set in a Walnut Orchard

Lyvia’s House, directed by Niko Volonakis, (who also composed the award-winning score) is currently making the rounds of festivals, and has thus far garnered wins and nominations at Horrorfest International, Toronto International Women Film Festival, Flicker’s Rhode Island International Film Festival, Athens International Digital Film Festival, and more. Patricia V. Davis received a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts for her work on the film. Nicholas Levis of BrandCinema is one of the producers. All three creators were residents of Astoria for a number of years.
